Jul 11, 2020

Good morning from Washington, where the question of reopening schools this fall, and how, is as urgent as it likely is in your neck of the woods. Dr. Kevin Pham looks at relevant medical facts. Plus: the Supreme Court's surprising ruling on Oklahoma and Indian land; parents should be wary of The New York Times' 1619 Project; and the speech police have not been defunded. On this date in 1905, scholar W.E.B. Du Bois and 28 other African American scholars, lawyers, and businessmen meet on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls to found the Niagara Movement as an early civil rights group. Have a terrific weekend.
