Dear John, I have good news. Roughly a third of Americans are on our side. Like you, they are principled conservatives. But our job at The Heritage Foundation is not to preach to the choir. But like you and me, they believe in free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. And they are disappointed with the direction our nation is currently headed under the radical liberal Obama administration. We have the opportunity to bring these Americans into the conservative fold and win real policy battles. And armed with the detailed solutions in our Saving the American Dream plan and the market research in our American Perceptions project, Heritage is leading the way. But liberals aren't sitting still. They want to monopolize the debates in 2014 -- so they can ram through their agenda of more Obamacare, more taxes, more spending, and more government.
