We're thrilled to announce that Michael Knowles, host of The Michael Knowles Show at the Daily Wire, will be joining us as a keynote speaker at our 2025 Ideas Summit.
In 2021, Knowles, a long-time admirer of National Review founder William F. Buckley Jr., wrote the introduction to the 70th anniversary edition of Buckley's famous God and Man at Yale. Knowles writes that Buckley believed "radicals were subverting American society by indoctrinating the nation's future leaders with atheism and collectivism." They did this, Knowles continued, under the guise of "academic freedom."
Buckley's suspicions about the intentions of those extolling the virtues of academic freedom turned out to be quite prescient. Today, we see college students and faculty engaging in equally vile intolerance, antisemitism, historical revisionism, and the unapologetic rejection of heterodox views.
At the Summit, Knowles will reflect on the current state of academia, highlighting the importance of embracing the founding principles of America to restore sanity and promote respectful, thoughtful dialogue within our institutions of higher education.
In case you haven't already, it's not too late to sign up today for the Ideas Summit, where you can catch Michael and our all-star lineup of speakers. The event will be held on March 20-21 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, just outside of Washington, DC.
As a reminder, the deadline for our special room block rate has been extended to March 11. Book your room today!
Don't miss out on this special opportunity to celebrate Buckley's 100th birthday with the leading minds in the conservative movement. |
