This year we cannot ignore the whirlwind changes since the January 20th inauguration of President Trump - the good, the bad, and the ugly!

As I write this update, one of the most evil of US government entities - USAID - looks to be on the chopping block, which potentially puts the brakes on more than four decades of foreign meddling and regime change overseas. We are also looking at for the first time a real re-ordering of how the US government does public health and perhaps even (finally) some pushback on big Pharma. Will we finally get rid of the Department of Education?

At the same time we are looking at tariffs and trade wars, which will kill the dollar and decimate the US economy. We are also hearing troubling words from the president about forcibly depopulating Gaza and "fixing it up" without the indigenous population. Also, Trump became at least the fourth US president to bomb Somalia.
