US government announces it is suing Amazon for allegedly running an illegal monopoly

The Federal Trade Commission and 17 state attorneys general filed a suit on Tuesday against Amazon, alleging that the company is engaging in anticompetitive practices that have pushed other companies out of the marketplace.
