Speaking of the shutdown👀: Trump today says they are seeing a change in both public opinion and the Democrats' position.
- 📝"After a year of soul-searching and introspection by Democrats about what they should stand for after losing the White House and Senate in 2024, the party is largely coalescing behind the same message that has united it for the past decade: stopping Donald J. Trump Isn't a King 👑

🤷🏼‍♂️The No Kings rally is a perfect example of what makes NewsNation different.

‼️Seven million people showed up to the No Kings protest.

🤷🏼‍♂️There was no violence — but protesters certainly fantasized about it:
- 👎🏼The elementary school teacher who made a mocking gun to her neck, celebrating the killing of Charlie Kirk — really disturbing.
- 🗣️The organizer who said people should get guns in Chicago and kill ICE.
  - 🎤"You gotta grab a gun, we gotta turn around the guns on this fascist system. These ICE agents gotta get shot and wiped out."
- 🔨The Trump piñata that people took turns bashing.
🤦🏼Protesters were not even able to describe how Trump is a king.
- ❌ By every applicable definition, he is not a king — as evidenced by mass protests against him with police protection.
- 🗣️Since 2016, Democrats have called Trump a king, a Nazi, a fascist — it hasn't worked because nobody believes them.
🎙️"Charlie Kirk had it coming" and "Make assassinations great again," said signs at one tent — you think this is the way to win elections?
👎🏼Then there is this woman — imagine if she were your grandmother.
- 🎤"Charlie Kirk is a piece of garbage," she said.

Pay attention‼️: The millions of people out on the street are something to listen to.

🤷🏼‍♂️Are Republicans making a mistake dismissing it?
🎤Trump says the turnout means nothing.
- 🎙️"I think it's a joke. I looked at the people. They're not representative of this country," said Trump. "I'm not a king. I work my ass off to make our country great — that's all it is. I'm not a king at all."
  - ❌ Trump and Republicans have a point — those at the No Kings rallies were never going to be his voters anyway.
    - By appearance, they are very white and older.

Look back👀: Remember the Tea Party — the Democrats dismissed it as a bunch of loons in 2009 — and there were a bunch of loons, but it was also the beginning of a movement.

📍Trump came along and ran with it five years later — look where we are now.
- 📰History shows both parties should take these movements more seriously.
- 😳Republicans are doing the opposite … that's a mistake.

- ‼️The "No Kings" rallies and Karine Jean Pierre's complaint today that "Democrats aren't doing enough" to oppose Trump — there is a big difference.
- 🎤Democrats are in the position of saying big problems like continued murders in Chicago aren't a problem.
  - ‼️This weekend, four were killed and 14 wounded in Chicago.

👀Now that Hamas is torturing and slaughtering its own people, nobody cares.

Predicted and predictable🎤: We told you more than a week ago the ceasefire would expose the "pro-Palestinian" types for what they are — terrorist-supporting Jew haters.

Irony Alert🚨: The only people talking about the civilians killed in Gaza right now are the Trump administration.
