Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship timeline Kelce and Swift began dating and went public with their relationship in October 2023, when the pair was seen holding hands in New York City after a "Saturday Night Live" afterparty, according to People magazine at the time.
Since going public, Swift has been seen at multiple Kansas City Chiefs games, including two Super Bowls.
In her first Super Bowl appearance, while dating Kelce in 2024, Swift flew from Japan, following her "Eras Tour" stop in the country, to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII.
The singer also announced her 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," on Kelce's "New Heights" podcast. |

American Eagle has announced a collaboration with NFL player Travis Kelce following on the heels of Kelce's engagement to Taylor Swift and controversy over the company's previous ad campaign.
The company described the collection as reflecting Kelce's "live to play" philosophy and is being created in collaboration with Kelce's Tru Kolors brand. The Kansas City Chiefs player will be joined by fellow athletes in the ad campaign for the collection, including tennis player Anna Frey, basketball player Azzi Fudd, football players Drew Allard and Jeremiah Smith, basketball prospect Kiyan Anthony and gold-medal gymnast Suni Lee.
The tight end served as creative director for "AE x TK by Travis Kelce" with the clothing company, American Eagle said in a press release. He launched his sportswear and lifestyle brand in 2019, according to the company.
The line will feature over 90 pieces, including varsity jackets, vintage-inspired tees and cashmere sets, the company revealed. Kelce and American Eagle's partnership comes amid the company being in hot water with a current campaign featuring actress Sydney Sweeney.
Last month, an American Eagle ad featuring garnered backlash over a tagline that some say has racial undertones. |

American Eagle's fall campaign features the "Anyone But You" actress in head-to-toe denim, standing beside a billboard that reads "Sydney Sweeney Has Great Genes." She crosses out "genes" and replaces it with "jeans," highlighting the brand's signature denim.
Social media users almost immediately commented on the advertisement, saying it evoked eugenics-era language that promoted the idea that white beauty standards were superior to others, according to Salon. "Who on your marketing team said this was a good idea," one social media user wrote under American Eagle's Instagram post.
The news was revealed just a day after Kelce shared his engagement to music superstar Taylor Swift, a relationship that has elevated his profile beyond just sports enthusiasts.
Swift and Kelce wrote on their social media pages, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married." |

Following Travis Kelce's engagement to Taylor Swift, rumors are once again swirling that the Kansas City Chiefs player will retire after the current season.
People within the Chiefs organization are allegedly anticipating that the upcoming 2025 season will be Kelce's last in the NFL, according to the New York Post.
The upcoming NFL season will be Kelce's 13th. He was drafted in 2013.
The tight end has already been a tremendous asset to the organization, helping lead the Kansas City Chiefs to three Super Bowl wins. However, during the Chiefs' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LIX, Kelce posted career lows in receiving yards, yards per reception and receiving touchdowns, marking his worst performance of the season, ESPN reports.
Following the loss, on "New Heights," Kelce said of retirement, "I'm gonna take some time to figure it out." Shortly after he made his comments, FanDuel Canada posted odds on whether he would announce his retirement by April 24, 2025, according to SI.com.
Most people bet Kelce wouldn't retire at the end of last season, shown by the -196 odds on "no." But anyone who wagered he was done playing could have cashed in at +150 if he did retire.
However, later in February, Kelce expressed "I can't go out like that" to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, according to ESPN. Kelce, 35, is in the final year of his contract.

"Since he announced his return to the Chiefs in late February, all signs have pointed to the 2025 season being Kelce's last," according to ESPN. "Since June, Kelce, who is in the final year of his contract, has spoken about his future with the team through only this season."
There haven't been any bets placed yet this year on whether he would retire after his 13th season with the league.
If the 2025 season is the "New Heights" host's last, the organization wants to give him a "Hollywood-like ending," like the way quarterbacks Peyton Manning and John Elway went out, according to ESPN.
"Hopefully he'll go out a champion," Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said at the NFL combine. "Hopefully, he has a magical season to end a magical career."
If Kelce hangs up his uniform after this season, he still has personal and professional endeavors ahead.
In news that shocked "Swifties" and much of the world, Kelce is getting married to music superstar Swift after proposing to the singer with what jewelry experts think is a 7–10 carat ring worth $500,000 to nearly $1.3 million. American Eagle recently announced a collaboration with Kelce and his Tru Kolors brand.
He launched his sportswear and lifestyle brand in 2019, according to the company. The line will feature over 90 pieces, including varsity jackets, vintage-inspired tees and cashmere sets, the company announced.
The tight end served as creative director for "AE x TK by Travis Kelce" with the clothing company, American Eagle said in a news release. Kelce also co-hosts the "New Heights" show alongside his brother Jason Kelce, the former Philadelphia Eagles center.
His new fiancé announced her 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," earlier this month. The episode led to the show garnering the most views in its history. |
