Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, may be about to debut her "second" season of her struggling Netflix show, "With Love, Meghan" — but Tyler Perry won't be watching. Sources have told me the Atlanta-based power producer is truly "bone deep" hurt after Markle and Harry went radio silent since he was sued for sexual harassment in June. "Harry and Meghan have said nothing — not one word — to him since the news came out," one source said. "There have been no public proclamations or private calls. Nothing. And this is the man who saved them when they fled England. There is no loyalty; they only care about themselves." Tyler Perry sued for sexual harassment Perry was sued in June by actor Derek Dixon for sexual harassment and assault. Dixon alleged in his complaint that when he worked for Perry from January 2020 to June 2024, the writer-director-producer "sustained a pattern of workplace sexual harassment, assault and retaliation" according to court documents. Dixon briefly appeared in BET's "Ruthless" before landing a role in Perry's "The Oval," appearing in 85 episodes from 2021 to 2025. In an explosive interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Dixon said, "I couldn't just let [Perry] get away with this. Everyone deserves to go to work and do their job without their boss trying to have sex with them." After the lawsuit came out, Perry's attorney Matthew Boyd denied the allegations and issued a statement that read in part: "This is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry for what now appears to be nothing more than setting up a scam. But Tyler will not be shaken down, and we are confident these fabricated claims of harassment will fail." While the accusations are horrific, Perry was still shocked that he never got even a mental health welfare "check-in" call from the Sussexes — or any support at all. |
Tyler Perry helped Meghan Markle and Prince Harry After all, in 2020, before he had even met the couple, he lent them and their young son Archie one of his mansions in Los Angeles, his security detail and flew them from Canada to LA on his private jet — all free of charge, according to the Times of London. To thank him, the couple named Perry godfather to their daughter Lili and later spoke of his help in the Netflix docuseries, "Harry & Meghan," saying: "I had never met him before. I was a wreck, just crying and crying. … Sometimes it's easier to open up to someone who knows nothing at all." "He did so much for them — and gets nothing in return," a Perry friend fumed. "Not even a 'Hey, how you holding up?' call." Perry was notoriously silent on Markle's August 4 birthday — despite having publicly wished her "Happy birthday" in the past. |

| Meghan Markle's friendship struggles This is not the first time Markle has been a fickle friend. Markle has gained a reputation for walking away from people when they no longer serve her or disappoint her. Among the former friends are Victoria Beckham, Piers Morgan— whom she wooed for press when she first started visiting England — British socialite Lizzie Cundy, "Made in Chelsea" star Millie Mackintosh and, of course, her bestie, Jessica Mulroney. Markle and Mulroney were so close that Mulroney was on the phone with Markle when Harry proposed, and Mulroney's sons and daughter were page boys and a flower girl in Markle's wedding to Harry. The relationship came to an abrupt end in 2020 after Mulroney got into a spat with Canadian lifestyle blogger Sasha Exeter, who accused her of white privilege and bullying. In an 11-minute video posted on Instagram, Exeter alleged Mulroney had threatened her connections with brands and sponsors after the women sent each other messages regarding a misunderstanding over a Black Lives Matter post. Exeter said she got a text from Mulroney saying: "If you go to the press over this nonsense and threaten to go to your followers, I won't be afraid to go to brands and tell them what you are doing to me." Soon after the spat, Mulroney was fired from her gig at "Good Morning America" and Canadian TV Shows — and Markle stopped calling. Several months later, Mulroney issued a cryptic quote on Instagram about losing important people from her life: "Life changes. You lose love. You lose friends. You lose pieces of yourself that you never imagined would be gone. And then, without even realizing it, those pieces come back. New love enters. Better friends come along. And a stronger, wiser you is staring back in the mirror." Since then, Mulroney has said her friendship with Markle was a "mistake" — something Perry is sure to agree with. Reps for the Sussexes and Perry didn't return emails. |
Meghan Markle's 'With Love' lacks big names Meanwhile, Hollywood is taking notice that none of Meghan's supposed famous friends are turning up in her "With Love" show. "There's no Beyoncé, no Serena or Venus Williams, no Oprah… it's just a bunch of D-Listers like Tan France and Chrissy Teigen. And they all are repped by the same agency (WME) as Meghan. Her other friends — her makeup artist — work for her. It's just so weird," one insider scoffed to me. And while claiming her undying love for the Williams sisters, Markle was notably absent from Venus Williams' bachelorette party this summer. As I exclusively reported in July, Venus sailed around Sardinia with a small group of girlfriends and her sister Serena celebrating her impending nuptials to actor Andrea Pretoria. The wedding will take place in September on the Amalfi Coast. It will be interesting to see if Markle and Harry got invited. |

Christie Brinkley is hot these days. The supermodel is reveling in the success of her autobiography, "Uptown Girl: A Memoir," and is now fielding seven-figure offers for the film rights to the book. "Everyone is dying to make a biopic of the book," one spy said. "The book was so juicy and a Hulu or Netflix docuseries would do really well — just like (her ex) Billy Joel's did." Joel's two-part documentary, "Billy Joel: And So It Goes," appeared on HBO this summer and is said to have done very well. Described as "revelatory" by NPR, it delved into Joel's life at the head of the music scene, fame, his marriages and his struggle with alcoholism. People like Paul McCartney, Pink, Nas, Garth Brooks and Bruce Springsteen were all interviewed. But most of the doc came from interviews with his grown children, sister, former bandmates and his former wives, including Brinkley. |

Christie Brinkley memoir revelations And it's Brinkley's revelations in that doc as well as her autobiography that have producers salivating. In the book, Brinkley was unflinchingly honest about her life. Some of the biggest revelations, according to People, include: — She was relieved when her abusive biological father, Herb Hudson, gave up parental rights. She was then adopted by her stepfather, Don Brinkley. — She always believed Joel, who denied cheating on her during their marriage, which ended after "his drinking became bigger than both of us." — Her third husband, Richard Taubman, betrayed her by contacting her bio-dad, Herb, and later told her, "We're going to make a deal. I'm going to walk away from you and the baby just like Herb Hudson did." The book also details her devastating split from Peter Cook, an architect, whom she was married to from 1996 to 2008. "It was the most tortured relationship I've ever had," Brinkley wrote. While giving a graduation speech at a Hamptons high school, a local police officer approached her and said, "Excuse me, I need to tell you that arrogant husband of yours has been having an affair with my teenage daughter." "I was so stunned that I froze," she writes. She looked into the audience, where Cook was sitting with her son Jack. "As soon as I saw him," she continues, "Peter's eyes were already trained on my face, as he began shaking his head, 'No.'" "When your whole world falls apart and you realize in a heartbeat you've suddenly become the cliche middle-aged woman whose husband is having an affair with a much (much) younger woman, what do you do?" she writes. |
Christie Brinkley finds ex's 'labyrinth' of files In Cook's office, she found a "labyrinth" of files. "A panoply of incriminating photos and porn accounts populated the screen like fireworks, and before I knew it, my printer was shooting [beaver shots] out into the room," she writes. "It was so insane that it was almost funny, and soon enough, the three of us were doubled over in laughter, as printouts of girls in X-rated poses began piling up on the floor faster than trash outside a greasy takeaway." Brinkley soon filed for divorce from Cook, and the couple waged a nasty battle that went on for six years. I'm also told that, along with the book, Brinkley has "extensive" video and photographs from throughout her life. "It's a documentarian's dream," my spy added. A rep for Brinkley didn't return emails. |

Britney Spears is worrying people … again. This week, fans were freaked out when she posted two videos of herself to Instagram, once again dancing — but this time singing off-key, talking in a bizarre British accent and writhing in pajamas and gowns in a filthy house. "Her voice is shot," my source said. "It's been shot for years — that's why there was so much auto-tune when she did the 'Tiny Dancer' remake with Elton John, but now, everyone knows how bad it is." While she has become known for dancing (sometimes with knives) and nudity in her videos, it was also the messy home that caught people's eyes. Britney Spears 'doesn't trust anyone in her space' According to the Substack Naughty But Nice, it's because Spears fired her maid and hasn't allowed anyone else in to clean in months. "She's paranoid," one insider bluntly said. "She doesn't trust anyone in her space. But the result is a house in chaos — piles of clothes, clutter everywhere." "She's isolating again," one confidant sighed. "She pushes people away, and now even basics like housework are slipping. It's a sign she's spiraling." |

Britney Spears' maid was boyfriend's mom The only good news in this situation is, sources tell me, the maid she fired was the mother of her on-again, off-again boyfriend, ex-convict Paul Soliz. Spears met Soliz after his mother got the pop star to hire him as a gardener and house cleaner. The last time Spears broke up with Soliz was in April — around the time she fired his mother. Spears first broke up with Soliz last year after cops were called on the duo at the Chateau Marmont hotel in LA. The couple had a raging fight, and Spears was led away from the hotel bleeding and half-dressed. Over $50,000 worth of damage was done to a room at the hotel. |
