Bongino raised his voice during a discussion with White House chief of staff Susie Wiles before storming out of the meeting, according to two sources close to DOJ leadership. Bongino also exchanged heated words with Attorney General Pam Bondi during the meeting, and the whole ordeal has led him to consider resigning from the FBI, another source said. Former Biden Campaign Lawyer Now Works in Trump Justice Department . . . A lawyer who worked for Joe Biden's 2020 presidential campaign and for two different offices in the Biden White House now works in President Donald Trump's administration as an ostensibly nonpolitical staffer at the Justice Department. According to OPM records, Scheinman transitioned from a political role to a career position on Oct. 31, 2022. She left her position as associate general counsel at the Office of Management and Budget to take an attorney-advisor position in the Justice Department's antitrust division. Daily Signal
Biden Says He Made the Clemency Decisions That Were Recorded With Autopen . . . Toward the end of his term as president, Joseph R. Biden Jr. reduced the sentences of nearly 4,000 federal convicts and pre-emptively pardoned dozens of politically prominent people he saw as potential targets of vindictive criminal investigations by his successor. Biden said that he had orally granted all the pardons and commutations issued at the end of his term, calling President Trump and other Republicans "liars" for claiming his aides had used an autopen to do so without his authorization. Trump Presents Chelsea with Trophy After FIFA Club World Cup Final Win . . . President Donald Trump presented the Premier League's Chelsea with a trophy after the team won the FIFA Club World Cup final on Sunday evening at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. In videos posted to social media, Trump was seen carrying the FIFA Club World Cup trophy to the team after Chelsea defeated the French club Paris Saint-Germain 3-0. Vanessa Sivadge lost her job at a Texas hospital and faced questioning from the FBI after speaking out about experimental transgender "treatments" on children. She told "The Daily Signal Podcast" how her faith motivated her to speak out and why she feared no one else shared her concerns, despite the fact that so-called "gender-affirming care" violated not just her faith but her medical ethics, as well. Chinese illegal immigrant crossings that surged during Biden admin a 'national security concern' . . . U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported 122 illegal immigrants to China June 3, many of whom were convicted of murder, drug trafficking, rape and human smuggling. Officials said the individuals were taken to China on a "special high risk charter flight." The Department of Justice on Tuesday charged seven Chinese nationals after they allegedly operated a multimillion- dollar marijuana trafficking ring. Fox News

Fears over ICE lead university to give option for online classes . . . Leaders at Cal State L.A. said this week that professors can move their classes online amid growing fears over immigration raids voiced by students at the campus east of downtown. In a letter to faculty, the university provost said that after hearing from students "scared to take public transit and fearful of driving to campus," leaders reiterated policies that also allow professors to provide excused absences and alternative makeup work arrangements for concerned students. Trump envoy arrives in Kyiv as US pledges more Patriot missiles to Ukraine . . . U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy to Ukraine and Russia, retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, was in Kyiv on Monday, a senior Ukrainian official said, as anticipation grew over a possible shift in the Trump administration's policy on the three-year war. Trump last week said he would make a "major statement" on Russia on Monday. Trump made quickly stopping the war one of his diplomatic priorities, and he has increasingly expressed frustration about Russian President Vladimir Putin's unbudging stance on U.S-led peace efforts. Suspect kills 2 women in Kentucky church after shooting state trooper, police say . . . Two women died Sunday at a church in Lexington, Kentucky, in a shooting rampage that began when a state trooper was wounded after making a traffic stop, police said. The suspect in both shootings was also killed. The suspect carjacked a vehicle after the traffic stop near Lexington's airport and fled to Richmond Road Baptist Church, where he opened fire, city Police Chief Lawrence Weathers said. Killed in the shootings at the church were a 72-year-old woman and a 32-year-old woman, the local coroner said. Associated Press

Several hate-filled posts with slurs and antisemitic messages were posted by the X account of the beloved Sesame Street puppet. Other messages featured comments about President Donald Trump and the Epstein files while also calling the president "Netanyahu's puppet." "ALL JEWS SHOULD DIE" and "DONALD TRUMP IS NETANYAHU'S PUPPET BECAUSE HE IS IN THE EPSTEIN FILES," read sentences of the first post from Elmo's social media account. The Mets' beloved mascot took a nasty spill off the stage at the Lumineers concert in Flushing on Friday night and the embarrassing video went viral. It didn't start well for Mr. Met, dressed in a white shirt and suspenders to fit the band's look, as he first failed to catch a tambourine thrown to him by Lumineers lead singer Wesley Schultz.
