Suspect in Boulder antisemitic terror attack determined to be Egyptian man in US illegally: FBI . . . An Egyptian national who came into the country two years ago and overstayed his visa has been charged in the gruesome terror attack that left eight people injured in Boulder, Colorado, Sunday, authorities said. Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, was arrested at the scene, after he allegedly set his victims on fire as they peacefully rallied on behalf of Israeli hostages still being held by Hamas in Gaza. Soliman was heard yelling "Free Palestine" and other anti-Israel slogans during the attack on victims ranging in age from 52 to 88. Fox News

On Saturday night, President Donald Trump abruptly withdrew his nomination of Jared Isaacman, a close ally of Elon Musk, to be the next Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. "After a thorough review of prior associations, I am hereby withdrawing the nomination of Jared Isaacman to head NASA," Trump said in a post on Truth Social. Oregon Girls Turn Backs On Medal Ceremony With Trans-Identifying Competitor . . . Two girls who competed at the Oregon track and field state championships refused to stand on the medal podium alongside a biologically male competitor on Saturday night. Alexa Anderson of Tigard High School and Reese Eckard of Sherwood High School, both seniors, stepped down from the medal podium for long jump in protest of a trans-identifying athlete's participation. Boston Marathoner Kicked Off Team for Speaking Out About Transgender Issue . . . New mom and marathoner Natalie Daniels was booted from her running club for saying that people who identify as transgender should not compete against biological women in sports. When Daniels began training for the Boston Marathon just a few months postpartum, she interviewed with the organization XX-XY Athletics, a clothing brand which aims to protect women's sports. One in five Muslims with a "migrant background" in Germany, or over a million people, are currently susceptible to becoming radical Islamists, a study has found. Ukraine drones strike bombers during major attack in Russia . . . Ukraine says it completed its biggest long-range attack of the war with Russia on Sunday, after using smuggled drones to launch a series of major strikes on at least 40 Russian warplanes at four military bases. President Volodymyr Zelensky said 117 drones were used in the so-called "Spider's Web" operation by the SBU security service, striking "34% of [Russia's] strategic cruise missile carriers". The Russian high command must have been as shocked as the Americans were in 1941 when the Ukrainians carried out a surprise attack against five Russian air bases located far from the front — two of them thousands of miles away in the Russian Far North and Siberia. At least two people were killed and hundreds more were injured in Paris following a European soccer championship, as protesters waved Palestinian flags and clashed with police. Chaos erupted across the city after thousands of people took to the streets to celebrate Paris Saint-Germain winning the Champions League, the most prestigious title in European soccer. Poland Elects Conservative With Ties to Trump as President . . . A conservative historian who had flaunted his ties with President Trump won Poland's presidential election Sunday in a close, high-pressure race that drew the largest turnout since the country shook off Communism in 1989. Karol Nawrocki, 42, who was tapped by the conservative Law and Justice Party, won 50.89% of the vote. While the presidency in Poland is a mostly ceremonial role, Nawrocki's win is a victory for the right. Wall Street Journal

Major study shows exercise improves cancer survival . . . An exercise programme for colon cancer patients can cut the risk of dying by a third, a major international trial shows. The researchers said it was "not a large amount" of exercise and any type of workout from swimming to salsa classes counted. The results could change the way colon cancer is treated around the world. Scientists are already investigating whether similar exercise regimes could improve survival for people with other diseases, such as breast cancer. BBC
