We have continued our research looking at the FBI's active shooting data, and our updated study shows that our earlier results underestimated the benefits of concealed handgun permit holders in stopping these attacks. I hope you agree this is important work. I also hired McLaughlin & Associates to do a couple of surveys. The first one examines whether people think that illegal immigrants commit crime at a higher rate than American citizens. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, by 41.6%-to-33.3%, likely voters disagree that illegals are more likely to commit crime. Men, Republicans, conservatives, whites, and those between 41 and 55 years of age are the only ones who believe that illegal aliens are more likely to commit crime than Americans. Hispanics are more than twice as likely as blacks to think that illegals commit more crimethan Americans. What is most disturbing is that young people have the most inaccurate views on this issue. I wrote up several pieces. Democrats from Colorado to Illinois to Democrats in Congress keep pushing for gun bans on various types of semi-automatic bans. A new op-ed that I have points out the errors in the claims behind these bansand why the Supreme Court granting cert on the Snopes case is necessary to stop these bans. Other write-ups discuss our survey data from McLaughlin & Associates, showing that only 1 in 5 Americans think gun control reduces crime. Another piece disputes the misinformation public health people are putting out on mass shootings. My piece, "DNI Releases Secret Biden Plan Raising Serious Civil Liberties Concerns," continues to get media coverage. In addition to Real America's Voice for TV, I appeared on the following radio shows: Chicago's WIND, Wisconsin's Vicki McKenna Show, and Las Vegas' giant KXNT-AM. Greg Gutfeld heavily relied on my research in a recent appearance on Fox News' The Five. Other news media coverage discussed our research in Just the News, Law Enforcement Today, The Blaze, HuffPost, some North Carolina news outlets, Report 24 in Germany, and Real Clear Politics. My book "Gun Control Myths" has been translated into Portuguese. It is my fourth book translated into Portuguese. We have updated our list of defensive gun uses by people legally carrying concealed handguns for January 2025. On other topics, ballot harvesting in Texas linked to vote fraud. Illegals engage in a lot of crime, but even those numbers underestimate their true crime rate because illegals commit crime against other illegals. The UK is talking about banning 21 inch knives.
