Trump's approval rating dips as voters hammer him on the economy . . . President Donald Trump has seen a drop in his approval rating in Daily Mail polling for the first time as he reaches 100 days of his second administration, with voters worried about how tariffs will impact their wallets. The president's approval in the Daily Mail/J.L. Partners poll fell nine points from 54 percent on April 17 - when his popularity was at a record high - to 45 percent this week. The decline is universal with voters increasingly concerned by issues that were critical to Trump's victory over Kamala Harris in the presidential election: rising prices and the economy. Daily Mail
This is reflected in other polls as well. Trump is intentionally taking a hit, believing that tariffs will bring long-term gains. Note in the Money section below the new $1B investment by Merck. And BTW, please continue to ignore those who have said for years he cares only about himself and his personal popularity, and not the country.

A four-car motorcade? Eight years after being not the president, but the first lady? Does she need an Abrams tank and a Blackhawk helicopter too?

Trump's tariff war with Beijing is part of a multiprong strategy to secure America from a much broader threat . . . President Donald Trump is in an all-out trade war with China. Predictably, pundits, experts of all stripes and assorted members of the Washington commentariat are viciously attacking the president, predicting global economic Armageddon. What they don't understand is that the tariff war is part of Trump's sophisticated multipronged strategy aimed at reducing a much bigger threat that China poses to America. Trump is fighting a non-kinetic war with Beijing to avoid a kinetic one, which would surely be catastrophic for both the U.S. and China. Rebekah Koffler for Fox News
