So much for the Kansas City Chiefs' quest for a Super Bowl three-peat. It wasn't even close. Cooper DeJean got a pick-6 on his 22nd birthday, Josh Sweat pressured Mahomes all night and the Eagles routed the Chiefs 40-22 on Sunday to secure the franchise's second Super Bowl championship. The losses include a preliminary injunction halting the president's attempt to limit birthright citizenship, several restraining orders preventing him from pausing government assistance grants and contracts, a block on releasing names of FBI agents involved in pursuing cases against the Jan. 6, 2021, rioters, a freeze on plans to put on leave the entire workforce at the U.S. Agency for International Development, and a stay blocking Mr. Trump from finalizing his mass-buyout plan for the federal workforce. Freed Israeli hostage was unaware wife and daughters killed, British family says . . . An Israeli hostage freed from Gaza did not know his wife and daughters were killed in the 7 October attack until after his release on Saturday, his British family said. Eli Sharabi was taken by Hamas 16 months ago and released on Saturday in Deir al-Balah, in Gaza. His wife Lianne Sharabi, who was from Bristol, and daughters Noiya and Yahel were found murdered in their safe house "cuddled together" in 2023. BBC

Trump's Next Round of Tariffs—25% on Steel and Aluminum—Won't Be So Easily Averted . . . President Trump said that he plans to impose 25% tariffs Monday on imports of steel and aluminum, part of the structural change to the country's trade system that the president promised on the campaign trail. He also said he plans to make an announcement about reciprocal tariffs on Tuesday or Wednesday. "Very simple, they charge us, we charge them," Trump said Sunday. Trump tells Treasury to stop making pennies . . . President Trump announced Sunday that he is telling the Treasury Department to stop minting pennies, ending a 233-year run of the 1-cent coin. The penny, one of the first coins made by the U.S. Mint after its establishment in 1792, now costs more than two cents to produce, Trump said in a post on his Truth Social site shortly after departing the Super Bowl game in New Orleans. "For far too long the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents. This is so wasteful!" Trump wrote. USA Today

CNN committed a howler in its Friday night live broadcast in which it referred to Osama bin Laden as Obama bin Laden, drawing criticism on social media. A graphic on "CNN News Central" read in part, "OBAMA BIN LADEN ASSOCIATE: ABU ZUBAYDAH," videos of the news segment circulating on social media show. The graphic appeared as anchor Boris Sanchez spoke of interrogation techniques used on Al-Qaeda terrorist Abu Zubaydah in Guantanamo Bay. Daily Caller
