Greetings and welcome to yet another dramatic performance of the Carnival of Fools! This rendition was originally set to begin in a much more ominous way until I decided to take a deep breath, step back, and save all of my bitterest fears for a piece coming later. Instead, it's time to recall the Carnival's original purpose: spotlighting those who refuse to ditch the greasepaint or the sawdust circle, and insist on repeatedly donning clown make-up for public embarrassment.
