A Tesla Cybertruck exploded in flames outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, killing the driver and injuring seven others. The FBI, which did not publicly identify the driver, is investigating whether the blast was an act of terrorism. A gunman who killed at least 10 people in a rampage in a small town in Montenegro died from self-inflicted injuries after attempting suicide. Police said the man, identified as Aleksandar Martinovic, had a history of illegal weapons possession. Russian gas exports via pipelines running through Ukraine came to a halt on New Year's Day, marking the end of decades of Moscow's dominance over Europe's energy markets.
