Biden campaign fails to quell mounting Dem frustration . . . Democrats are growing increasingly frustrated by President Biden's reelection campaign's attempts at painting a rosy picture after his disastrous debate performance. Some say the campaign is trying to convince Democrats to move on quickly and not worry about the debate, while others feel they are being "gaslit" by those trying to convince the party the president can rebound. "I really do criticize the campaign for a dismissive attitude towards people who are raising questions for discussion. That's just facing the reality that we're in," Sen. Peter Welch (D-Vt.). Biden's decline raises questions about Jill Biden's power . . . First Lady Jill Biden has taken a leading role in propping up President Biden, inviting comparisons to first lady Edith Wilson who took the reins at the White House a century ago when President Wilson was incapacitated by a stroke halfway through his second term. "We don't know the role Jill Biden's been playing behind the scenes in the Biden administration, or what decisions she's been making, but it's clear, she has been making a number of decisions," Michigan pollster Steve Mitchell said. WH staffers reportedly 'scared s–tless' of erratic Biden, tiptoe around 'isolated' president . . . Some White House staffers have been forced to tiptoe around President Biden when briefing him on certain topics because they want to avoid eliciting his wrath and are "scared s–tless" of him, a new report says. "It's like, 'You can't include that, that will set him off,' or 'Put that in, he likes that,'"a senior administration official told Politico, referring to how some of the 81-year-old president's aides feel they have to walk through a minefield before briefings to avoid him getting angry with them. Three weeks ago, a Russian flotilla of warships, including a nuclear-powered submarine, operated less than 30 miles off the coast of Key Largo, Florida, a development that the Pentagon dismissed as posing "no threat." Europe finally voting to save itself . . . The left seems confused as to why citizens of Europe are "all of a sudden" voting and chanting populist policies. These citizens are merely fed up with left-wing policies that turned their cities boasting idyllic Western culture into rampant crime-laden third-world subsidiaries. These policies are rapidly losing appeal in France, Germany, and Ireland. A French woman, Lili R, who posted how "unbearable" daily life has become. "I am 26 years old, blonde, with light eyes, and I have always lived in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon, which is thought of as the poshest area in Lyon, and my daily life has become unbearable. I write this because, ten years ago, I could go out with my friends in the evening, at any hour, without being bothered, insulted, followed, or stabbed," she wrote. Daily Caller

Bosses bust workers who fake computer activity . . . The latest salvo in this productivity-tracking arms race came in a recent regulatory filing from Wells Fargo. The bank said it had fired more than a dozen employees in its wealth and investment management unit for allegedly simulating keyboard activity to create the "impression of active work."
