Breaking: Tucker Carlson Out at Fox News

Fox News’ top-performing host Tucker Carlson is leaving the network after serving in the prime-time slot since November 2016.

“Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” the company wrote in a statement.

As the departure came suddenly Monday, Carlson did not broadcast a farewell show. His last program was Friday, April 21, the network said.

An interim show featuring a rotating cast of Fox News personalities will fill the 8pm EST hour until a new host is named.
