Hal has often said that
the tremendous devastation described and predicted in Bible prophecy,
especially in the book of Revelation, that virtually everything that is
foretold there can be done by man's own inventions. John, a first
century man, has described for us exactly what he has seen: famine,
destruction and mass death. In chapter 9 it's announced that there's
going to be this great army of two hundred million soldiers coming from
East of the Euphrates. At the time the New Testament was written, the
Euphrates River was the dividing line between the near East and the far
East. It was called Asia. And so when this great army comes from Asia
and gets to the Euphrates River, it says these soldiers are going to
kill a third of the population of Earth with fire, brimstone and columns
of smoke. Which is how a first century man might describe the awesome
destruction of a nuclear war.
In part 33 of this line
by line examination of Revelation, Hal espouses that this may be the
reason why the United States of America is mentioned no where in Bible
prophecy about the Tribulation of 7 years. Hal freely admits he has no
idea why the US has no role in the end times; only that it is a fact it
does not. Maybe the people of North America fall victim to disease or
famine, maybe they are butchered by an invading force of millions with
the most destructive weapons man ever created? Maybe it's none of that,
and the people of the United States decided what's happening in Europe
and Israel isn't something that should involve them? No matter the
reason, the truth is we Christians will not be here to see it. This essential Bible study is available in its entirety at no charge in Hal's video archive.
