The CEO of New Journey PAC, Autry Pruitt, discusses the pushing of CRT on a statewide, and now a national level. He recently wrote a letter to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, highlighting this danger in Florida. Even worse, the Biden Administration may impose this on a national level, creating irreversible damage to the public education system in the US.

IMPORTANCE:

*In Florida, even though the Governor and Education Commissioner has not approved any curriculum involving CRT, the Florida Department of Education has been ignoring the guidelines set by the most senior state officials.
*The U.S. Department of Education under Biden is proposing that public schools in the entire US should be forced to teach Critical Race Theory, undermining the integrity and confidence in what should be a trusted system.
*In places where CRT is already being taught, like Broward County, FL, other ideas that are pushed on students include advocating for illegal immigration, and critizing the US Constitution and electoral college.
*CRT teaches students that diversity and activism count for more than merit and fairness. It teaches that America is fundamentally a racist and corrupt country. This is indoctrination, not education.

The Major Point:
Critical Race Theory has already corrupted significant amounts of public schools, even going so far as to ignoring rules set in place by a state like Florida. If the Biden administration pushes a federal mandate on CRT, students will be indoctrinated with hateful anti-American and far-left rhetoric, something which would be beyond devastating for the future of the country.
