If Joe Biden were covered in the news the same way President Trump was covered every single story would include the disclaimer, “Biden was sworn in as president despite allegations of widespread voter fraud which have never been investigated or disproven.”
By every predictive metric, the incumbent president was re-elected in the 2020 election. Increased vote total compared to the first election; a number of bellwether counties won; bellwether states; and, most telling of all, the success of the GOP in down-ballot races for Congress and state and local offices. All of it points to the incumbent president at the top of the ticket being comfortably re-elected with long coattails.
The only thing that put the challenger over the top was a highly suspicious and statistically improbable late-night spike in his vote count made possible by changes implemented “because of COVID-19” that allowed hitherto illegal and prohibited voting to occur in a handful of key swing states. Which in turn resulted in extremely anomalous returns in a handful of Democrat strongholds long infamous for voter fraud. Furthermore, despite the loud protests to the contrary, there is ample evidence of fraud and other irregularities (dead voters, illegal alien voters, underage voters, fictitious voters, fraudulent addresses, forged postmarks, no postmarks, illegal pre-canvassing, illegal vote by mail where specifically prohibited by the state legislature, preventing partisan observers from observing the counting and validation as required by law, etc.)
So, what President Trump means is, he beat Hillary Clinton and the Democrats in 2016; and he beat Joe Biden and the Democrats in 2020. But for the cheating and fraud, he would be president right now. But that’s OK, he’ll get them in 2024.
It’s not ok, you’re not a democracy until you sort it out. What’s stopping the Democrats from doing this forever?
At this moment, nothing. However, as California Republicans have shown if you can’t beat them join them.
The pilot program for using late voting and cheat-by-mail to give Democrats a come from behind over impossible odds was Orange County, California in 2018.
In 2018 the Democrats turned an election day romp by the GOP in Republican stronghold Orange County into a Democrat sweep with post-election day ballot harvesting - a practice illegal in most jurisdictions.
The GOP cried foul - double-digit election day victories were overturned with ballots received after election day from Democrat harvesters, which skewed impossibly Democrat - but they got nowhere. So, in 2020 the GOP, having failed to stop the Democrats, joined them. Now it was the Democrats protesting against ballot harvesting. To the great chagrin of the Democrats, who went to court to try and stop the GOP from getting into the game, the GOP retook the seats lost to fraud in 2018.
So in 2024 if the GOP is not successful in stopping mass vote by mail they will have to set up their own vote by mail operation to make sure the Democrats don’t use it to their sole advantage.
This is total propaganda. Trump trailed in all the polls leading up to the election, so the statement that he was ahead in all the predictive metrics is false at the outset. In fact, Trump knew early in the campaign cycle that Biden could beat him, which is why he was so active in trying to paint Biden as being involved in the Ukraine, an issue that had already been investigated and dismissed, and which ultimately led to Trump’s impeachment. And all the election authorities no matter to which party they belong authenticated the validity of the election results. In fact, the only real issue is whether or not the adjustments to other than in person voting instituted by some states, that presumably led to larger democratic voter turnout during the pandemic, were made legally. But even then, there was no argument by republicans until after the election, and in fact they participated fully in most cases hoping their own turnout would be improved against the expected high democratic turnout. In reality, it was Trump’s performance in office that guaranteed his defeat at the polls - many of his supporters realized their mistake and chose not to repeat it. That’s also why the down-ballot races unexpectedly favored some republican candidates. It wasn’t republicanism that was defeated, it was just Trump.
As a matter of fact, do you have legitimate sources to support your claims?
Trump endlessly claims he won the election that Joe Biden won.
Trump endlessly whines, whimpers, and screams that he (trump) won that election “by a landslide" and his devotees mindlessly repeat the same chant.
Therefore, he maintains he will “beat democrats for the third time" (if he were to run again) as a result of his delusional thinking.
Trump's primary tool is to beat a topic to death, regardless of it's falsehood, because a certain number of people will believe him regardless of the actual truth. It's a tactic used by cult leaders over many years.
In fact, there is NO ACTUAL third time. We can literally see that because Joe Biden was inaugurated, and he is the legal, sitting president. Trump is using his “Fascist Cult Handbook" in a twisted effort to convince anyone who will believe him, that he is the rightful president… which we all know is complete bullshit.
This delusional ex president is just saying that he won 2020. So in his twisted mind he is saying he won 2016 after losing the popular vote by 3 million votes, said he won 2020 after losing the popular vote by above 7 million votes and Biden got 390 electoral votes.
So, we can only conclude his plan is to run in 2024 and “win” it with about a 12 million popular vote deficit to be followed by another attempted coup.
In his fevered mind that would total three victories.
For those of you who sees this claim as something to be terrorized by, just consider that at CPAC, Trump only won the straw poll by 55% of the people there.
To put this in perspective, CPAC is the most right wing organization meeting of the far right wing of the republican party which is now tumbled into the abyss of being far right wing.
I do see Trump using a fake third run for the presidency as a means of grifting huge numbers of dollars from his gullible followers.
Consider:
- He won the election in 2016/2017.
- He wasn't convicted by the Senate in the first impeachment charges.
- He wasn't convicted by the Senate again on the second impeachment charges. He's likely not good at math (“C- student" and all) and he's combining the two impeachments.
The present day Democrats are terrible at the impeachments. Donald Trump is right, he could shoot someone and walk on the charges because Democrats would botch his prosecution. You have to think that Democrats and Republicans aren't really in separate parties. Everything Trump as done occurred in public and it's documented with video.
It's insanity.
I have zero confidence in Democrats to prosecute bad actors. All they can do at this point is give the American people stuff or get ready for Donald Trump's return in 2024, which would be his fourth win.
