Breaking: White House to Withdraw Tanden Nomination for Budget Director: Report

The White House is set to withdraw Neera Tanden’s nomination to become director of the Office of Management and Budget, according to a new report.

According to the Washington Post, the White House will rescind the nomination as early as Tuesday evening after Tanden struggled to receive the support needed for a Senate confirmation in light of old tweets in which the nominee insulted lawmakers.
