Dr. Anthony Fauci - is the Director of NIAID - National Institute of Infectious Diseases.  Dr. Fauci is the lead spokesperson for the U.S. Government when responding to a health threat to Americans.  He oversees a $4.5 billion budget and an extensive research portfolio of basic and applied research to prevent - diagnose - and treat infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS - Ebola and now Zika and other transmitted infections - influenza - tuberculosis - malaria and illness from potential agents of bioterrorism.  He is an immunologist who has made substantial contributions to HIV/AIDS research and other immunodeficiencies - both as a scientist and as the head of the National Institute.

Congressman Adam Schiff represents California's 28th Congressional District.  He was elected inAdam Schiff 2002.  He is the ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and was a Member of the Benghazi Select Committee. The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence oversees the nation's intelligence agencies including components of the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Justice, State and Energy.  Schiff is a strong proponent of science and believes that American leadership in space exploration is a key driver of American leadership.  As a member of the Appropriations subcommittee that funds NASA, Schiff has fought hard to preserve and expand the robotic missions undertaken by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California and supports missions to Mars and a future mission to Jupiter's moon of Europa.

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich is the former Speaker of the House of Representatives.  After the 1994 mid-term elections - Newt Gingrich became the first Republican Speaker of the House in 40 years. While he was House speaker - the House enacted welfare reform - passed a capital gains tax cut in 1997 - and in 1998 passed the first balanced budget since 1969.  Since leaving the House - Gingrich has remained active in public policy debates and works as a political consultant and network political analyst.   Speaker Gingrich has a new project which is to educate America and especially young people about our first President George Washington.  The documentary entitled "The first American" was shown at Mt. Commissioner Bill Bratton is the New York City Police Commissioner.  Commissioner resigned the weekbratton of August 1, 2016 to enter private practice.  In terms of terrorism, Bratton was the "Top Cop" in the world.  He has previously served as the Commissioner of the Boston Police Department (BPD) (1993-1994) - New York City Police Department (NYPD) Commissioner (1994–1996) - and Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) (2002–2009).  The newly elected New York City in 2013 - Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that Bratton would return to the post of Police Commissioner in New York City.  Commissioner Bratton is having another successful run as Police Commissioner.  Crime is down - violent crime is way down.  The Commissioner has faced a number of challenges during this tenure but he has remained very loyal to the Mayor and faced down problems with professionalism and good judgement.   Commissioner Bratton and his team are considered the leading world experts in terrorism and terrorist protection.

DinapoliUpstate still in slow recovery

Thomas DiNapoli - Democrat - is the 54th Comptroller of the state of New York. He is a former state assemblyman in New York - who was appointed as New York State Comptroller on February 7 - 2007. He's been making government more accountable and transparent to the people for more than 35 years.  The New York State Comptroller manages the State's $176.8 billion pension fund - audits the spending practices of all State agencies and local governments.  He was formerly the Chairman of the Assembly Environmental Conservation Committee.  DiNapoli is from Long Island.   Since taking Tom DiNapoli has aggressively fought misuse of public resources - strengthened one of the nation's top public pension funds - and consistently spoken out against fiscal gimmicks - imprudent actions and government inefficiency

Narcotic epidemic 


Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney is a member of Congress in New York's 12th carolyn maloneycongressional district. - the eastern half of Manhattan and portions of Queens.  A Democratic - she worked as a teacher and an administrator for the New York City Board of Education.  The Congresswoman was the driving for to extend the provisions of the Zadroga Act - federal law providing medical treatment for 9/11 first responders.   Congresswoman Maloney is one of the hardest working members of Congress; the reason is re-elected by ever increasing margins.  Recently Congresswoman has been advocating the installation of a Panda bear exhibit in New York City whether it be Central Park or the Bronx Zoo system.  Also one of the Congresswoman's current projects is the Women's Museum in Washington DC.  After years of effort she and her co-backers have received approval and are moving forward.  Congresswoman Maloney introduces Warren Zysman, CEO Addiction Care Intervention (ACI).  http://www.acirehab.org/
