He's the California legislator who tried to use the power of his office to force California State University at Stanislaus to cancel a fundraising speech that was given by Governor Sarah Palin back in 2010. Yee is also accused of accepting tens of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions and cash payments to provide introductions, help a client get a contract and influence legislation.
