What a fantastic line-up. And what a fantastic itinerary. In addition to Amsterdam (the port from which the Eurodam leaves and returns), the National Review 2013 Norwegian Fjords Cruise will be visiting
- BERGEN. This town can't help but make you think of a fairy tale. Stroll its centuries-old cobbled streets and alleyways where people have lived for centuries, with small wooden houses and flowers everywhere. Stop off at the Fish Market to mingle with the crowds, visit the Bergen Aquarium, the wooden buildings at Bryggen, the old fortress at Bergenhus, or its many museums and galleries.
- FLAM. Surrounded by steep mountainsides, roaring waterfalls and deep valleys, this beautiful town is nestled deep in a tributary of the world's longest and deepest fjord. There is so much to do, from cycling and hiking along one of the many trails in the Flam Valley or in the mountains, to visiting Otternes Bygdetun (its 27 different buildings dating back to the 1600's).
- EIDFJORD. This delightful village is known as a place of peace and quiet, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Take a lazy-day stroll along the waterfront, gaze at the majestic fjord, visit the old stone church and the Viking grave yards.
- STAVANGER. A vibrant and picturesque city (Norway's 4th largest) is home to almost two dozen museums, with a center arrayed around a pretty harbour and quiet streets. Don't miss the well-preserved old town (Gamle Stavanger), the unique Canning Museum or the 12th-century Stavanger Cathedral.
