Petraeus will have to testify before Congress about the Sept. 11 attack on a consulate in Libya that claimed the lives of four Americans, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein (Calif.) said Monday. Feinstein said she may subpoena a report about a trip Petraeus took to Libya last month. Petraeus was previously scheduled to testify before Congress this week, but abruptly resigned last Friday as he revealed having an extramarital affair. * Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) said Monday that Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) should "have a conversation with his constituents about his intentions." Jackson won reelection last week, but could step down as part of a plea deal. He is under a federal investigation focused on his use of campaign funds. * The Associated Press called Arizona's 9th District race Monday for Democrat Kyrsten Sinema. Sinema defeated Republican Vernon Parker, and will become the first openly bisexual member of Congress. Democrats lead in the five remaining uncalled House races. * Arizona Democratic Senate nominee Richard Carmona's Senate campaign isn't ruling out a legal challenge if Sen.-elect Jeff Flake's (R) advantage shrinks enough, as more votes are counted. Carmona conceded to Flake on Election Night, but there were still about 500,000 ballots left to be counted as of Saturday, making it possible, if very unlikely, that Carmona could catch Flake. WHAT YOU SHOULDN'T MISS * Will House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) run for another term as the head of House Democrats? She could announce her decision at a Wednesday caucus meeting. "When I see my caucus, I will discuss it with them in the beginning of this week rather than discuss it with rumor in Washington," Pelosi said. * How did President Obama defeat Mitt Romney in the 2012 election? By calling the Republican a "poopy head," according to Grover Norquist. "The president was committed -- elected on the basis that he was not Romney, and that Romney was a poopy head, and you should vote against Romney," Norquist told CBS. * Republican Sen.-elect Ted Cruz of Texas is warning that his state could soon turn blue if Republicans don't improve their image with Hispanic voters. "If Republicans do not do better in the Hispanic community, in a few short years Republicans will no longer be the majority party in our state," Cruz said in an interview. * Nebraska state Sen. Mike Flood (R) is expected to officially announce his 2014 gubernatorial bid on Monday night. Flood could end up being one of many Republicans vying to replace term-limited Gov. Dave Heineman (R).
