Sean kicked off Monday's show with a very bold prediction. "The events that will define this election have not happened yet," Hannity explained. "One of the biggest events will be when Mitt Romney announces his running mate. That's going to be a big moment in the campaign. Next will be the Republican Convention, then the Democrat's Convention followed by a series of debates that I will argue that will probably define this election more than any other debates in the past. All of these events have not happened yet. Historically and traditionally it usually takes until after Labor Day before the country really begins to focus in on the candidates," Sean explained. "If I were running in this election, I would run as if I was the underdog and prepare for the battle of my life, for the defining election that it will be." Priebus: "Harry Reid Is A Dirty Liar" Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, in an interview with ABC's This Week, said that Harry Reid is a "dirty liar" for accusing Romney of not paying taxes. "As far as Harry Reid is concerned, I'm not going to respond to a dirty liar who hasn't filed a single page of tax returns himself, complains about people with money but lives in the Ritz Carlton here (in Washington) down the street," Priebus said. Priebus joined Sean on the NewsMaker Hotline to defend his comments and discuss the election, now just 92 days away. The RNC Chairman said he would "triple down" on his charge that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is a "dirty liar" and said the GOP won't allow Democrats to "manufacture stories" and "steal an election." "It's amazing to me that there can be any honor in a position that he holds, that he's degraded so far down the tubes, Priebus continued. "It is what it is. He's a dirty liar, and we're moving on." | Skilled Space Program Employees Out Of Work Broken promises. The president pledged the world while out on the campaign trail, but fantasy quickly turned into reality, and almost four years later, the fallout is hard to ignore. In a Hannity special investigation, Sean took a look at the impact that candidate Obama's undelivered campaign rhetoric has had on average Americans, their communities and on a larger scale and the impact that it has already made on our nation's legacy. Sean began with a group of people that the president has turned his back on and that is the hard working Americans who helped the United States reach the final frontier - NASA. In order to put an American astronaut in space, we have to pay the Russians millions of dollars for one seat on one of their shuttles. The towns in Brevard County primarily make up what is known as Florida's space coast. Home to the Kennedy Space Center. This area was impacted the most when the space shuttle program ended, sending unemployment soaring and it is only no w starting to stabilize. Today's "Hot Topic" From The Hannity Forums: Romney is winning the game big time - tzor I see there are a lot of threads that talk about how confident Obama is these days. Sheer nonsense; he is running scared. Here is an interview with an unnamed White House insider who talks about how Romney deliberately leaked two internal polls that showed he was kicking Obama's bottom to the administration and the visible reaction that happened afterward. >> TV Tonight (Hannity FoxNews at 9pm ET): Sean sits down for an exclusive interview with former Vice President Dick Cheney tonight on 'Hannity'. |
