The “Architect” Karl Rove, joined Sean to discuss the current state of the Presidential race. “In spite of the $131 million in campaign ads, mostly in negative ads, that have been spent by the president, his poll numbers haven’t moved, have they,” began Hannity,” “That’s right, on May 15th when he launched his barrage it was 45-45 and now it’s 46-46,” agreed Rove, “The advertising has brought both candidates negatives up but the difference is Romney’s are more personal, can I trust this guy to be a leader or is he just a rich guy, but for Obama it’s more about the fact that he’s failed on the number one issue facing this country which is the economy.” Rove continued, “What the President is doing is fear mongering and it’s not worthy of the office that he holds.” One of the best lines so far this campaign season. While Sean and others has always been supportive of open dialogue that adds to the public discourse, the kinds of things we’re hearing from the Obama campaign seem to be as far from that goal as possible. Rudy Giuliani Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani stopped by the show to share his thoughts on Governor Romney’s chances to win in 2012. “I figured I’d put you on before Mitt Romney so I could figure out which position I should lobby for you,” laughed Hannity, “I figure defense secretary because I think they’d be scared to death of you.” “I remember when we went from Carter to Reagan,” laughed Giuliani, “I kind of equate that to Obama and Romney.” “I don’t understand the administration’s cozy relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood,” continued Hannity, “We’re spending 1.5 billion dollars in tax payer dollars there.” “He’s afraid to set foot in Isreal because it might upset somebody,” argued Giuliani, “Look at Obama’s approval rating in Israel, I wish he was running there because we’d win for sure.” Sean has spent a lot of time cove ring President Obama’s weakened relationship with Israel. Leading Hannity.com now is a great rundown of the many ways it seems President Obama is ignoring Israel, definitely something to check out here. |

| Governor Mitt Romney Sean was joined by Governor Romney to discuss the state on his campaign. “We have 25 million Americans underemployed and yet the President is constantly attacking you,” an obviously angered Hannity began, “Governor, this seems to be a daily barrage and I want to give you a chance to respond.” “The President has a way of putting out a false statement and then making it sound like mine,” responded Romney, “It really sounds like he’s doing anything so he doesn’t have to talk about his own record and he’s just attacking a strong man in a way that is dishonest and deceptive.” “What do you say to those who are unemployed or struggling, “questioned Hannity, “Isn’t that what this is all about?” “Help is on the way,” quickly responded Governor Romney, “If I’m lucky enough to become President, we’ll have to get to work at cutting programs, like Oba ma Care and eventually we can get to a balanced budget by reducing spending and cutting waste.” The battle wages on for a victory in November but it definitely sounds like Governor Romney is ready for the challenge. Today's "Hot Topic" From the Hannity Forums: The Republican Image Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sorry to tell you this, but elections are NOT just about issues. They're about personality...likeability...the feeling that a candidate "shares your pain." The reason you're losing to "the worst president in history" is that you've struck out on the intangibles. People in states like Ohio (where I'm at), Pa, Wi, Mi, and so forth can't stand hucksters like Romney. And I'm willing to bet you're going to suffer another humiliating defeat in November...just as you have on immigration, health care, the payroll tax cut, and foreign policy. >>TV Tonight (9pm ET on Fox News) Ann Coulter on Obama's continued attacks. |
