Sean continued Thursday’s show with a frustrated response to President Obama’s attack ads on Governor Romney. “Team Obama has found themselves in a web of lies,” began Hannity, “Obama campaign officials have refused to condemn the act because they say they don’t know the man in the ad’s story.” “The truth is though that Stephanie Cutter, President Obama’s deputy campaign manager who says she doesn’t know the Joe Soptic, the man in the ad, has indeed met the former steel worker,” explained Hannity, “We’ve uncovered a conference call where Soptic was explaining the story to Cutter earlier this year.” Successful campaigns are grounded in the virtues of intelligence and honesty, two things that are conspicuously lacking here. You can decide for yourself, check out this video complete with the audio from Spotic and Cutter’s meeting. Gingrich: A Man who Knows Attacks Speaker Newt Gingrich was joined by Sean to talk about what it’s like to be on the receiving end of negative campaigns. “I didn’t think it could get any worse than the Gingrich who stole Christmas,” laughed Hannity, “You’ve been called a lot of names over the years, what is your reaction to all of these attacks?” “This is desperation,” quickly responded Gingrich, “With 8.3 percent unemployment, Obama will do virtually anything to keep the conversation away from the economy but the bottom line is, if Mitt Romney is still standing when Americans go to vote, Barack Obama will be defeated.” “What I’ve been surprised by is how clumsy they’re being desperate,” laughed Gingrich, “This stuff is so embarrassingly bad that even the elite media has repudiated this ad.” The latest polls suggest President Obama has a slight edge but there’s a lot of campaigning left and ads like thi s might very well backfire against the White House. | Tamara Holder and Michelle Malkin Tamara Holder and Michelle Malkin debate the topic of the day, namely the attack ads released recently by SuperPACs supporting President Obama. “Tamara Holder, are these ads beneath the office of the Presidency?” “I think so,” agreed Holder, “Mitt Romney has also said President Obama has waged a war on religion, so really the negative ads on both sides don’t seem helpful right now.” “I make sure my oldest daughter listens to these debates so I can immunize her from this sort of intellectual incoherent dishonesty like this.” “There are some honest and liberal commentators who have said this is shameful,” continued Malkin, “Every detail in this ad has been proven to be wrong and it’s not.” Michelle Malkin’s latest article highlights the real people who have been hurt by the difficult economy. It’s a great read that highlights the havoc that has been brought on thousand s of Delphi workers. To read this article, click here. Today's "Hot Topic" From the Hannity Forums: We should expect, no, we should demand better! Posted by Rodeo Anyone who's ever read one of my posts about the administration and presidency of Barack Obama knows I find this man's presidency to be a complete disaster... But this post isn't about the policy failures, it's not about the debt, the deficits, the jobless rate... It's about the last week. There are so many new, fresh, steaming piles of dishonesty out there courtesy of the Obama administration and the desperate attempt to reelect this loser no matter what. Even if you support this guy, are you really willing to support that kind of dishonesty? Are you really seriously willing to cast your vote for someone who is so desperate to keep his job in a position of power influencing the future of your life, your kids, and the world in which we all have to live that you are willing to give him your vote. We can't even list all the examples, that disgusting ad dragging a poor dead woman into the middle of the campaign falsely is just the tip of the iceberg. I guess the simple question is, how much dishonesty in the name of silly politics are you folks on the left willing to put up with...Cause they aren't just lying to some of us...They are lying to all of us. And if they are this willing to crawl this far out of the realm of truth just to keep their jobs, how empowered are they going to be if they win reelection to say and do anything they want? Just curious... >>TV Tonight (9pm ET on FOXNews) Sarah Palin on the media mistreatemnet of Lolo Jones. |
