George Zimmerman Exclusive
Last night Sean had an exclusive interview with George Zimmerman and it’s been widely hailed as a great effort by Sean to get to the truth. “Do you feel you wouldn’t be here for this interview if you didn’t have a gun,” asked Hannity, “Do you regret that you had a gun that night?” “No, sir,” offered Zimmerman, “I feel it was all God’s plan and for me to second guess it or judge it…” Sean continued, “There’s the media and special interests and the narrative, it seems, is they want to make this about a white guy that killed an unarmed black youth holding skittles and iced tea, what do you say about that?” “I appreciate you not rushing to judgment,” thanked Zimmerman, “I think that people assumed I was white but English was my second language, believe it or not, I consider myself, first of all, an American, but a Hispanic American.” Sean spent more time going over every aspect of the night George Zimmerman shot and killed Treyvon Martin and went into some very specific detail about what happened and ultimately left the audience with a great understanding of the events of that evening. It’ll be interesting to see what results come from the ongoing trial. For Sean’s full coverage of this story, visit Hannity.com or click here

Sean was joined by former White House Chief-of-Staff Karl Rove to discuss his latest article in which he attacks President Obama for turning negative in the campaign. “The non-stop attacks by the Obama campaign show that they have no vision for the future,” began Hannity, “This shows just how desperate they are.” “You’re absolutely right, they’re stuck,” agreed Rove, “After nearly four years of office, it’s sad that he thinks this is what his best shot is.” In his article today, Rove points out many of the inconsistencies in President Obama’s attacks and ultimately ends with the note to readers, “This is Romney’s opportunity to remind voters, in a tone of disappointment and not anger, that Mr. Obama’s negative attacks will not put people back to work or reduce the national debt.” If you haven’t read this article, you should do so. It serves as an inspirational reminder that G overnor Romney can win in November and an intelligent road map for how he should do it. Click here to read Mr. Rove’s latest gem.
Senator Joe Lieberman
Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman joined Sean to talk about his book, “The Gift of Rest” which comes out in paperback on August 7th. “I can’t turn off my blackberry,” laughed Hannity as he began the conversation with Senator Lieberman, “I’m nuts, I sleep with my blackberry.” “You need help,” laughed Lieberman, “The point of this book is to put some rest in your life, find some time to take a break from all the responsibilities you have, you’ve earned it.” “You know, we need to connect to what’s important,” offered Hannity, “That’s what is important.” If you haven’t had a chance to check out this book, the soon-to-be retired statesman details the value he's gathered in observing the Sabbath and how he's applied those values to his daily life and leadership.
