What Happened To John Edwards?
Last week, Former presidential candidate John Edwards was acquitted of all charges stemming from accusations that the former politician illegally used campaign funds to hide personal indiscretions. Sean had the opportunity to sit down with the jury that acquitted the former Vice Presidential candidate. “You all knew that he faced 30 years in prison,” pressed Hannity, “You all knew that if you put him away for 30 years that his young children would not only lose their mother but they’d lose a father, does that go through your mind at all? In all honesty.” The jury unanimously agreed that it would not, with juror Sheila Lockwood offering,” We were too busy wrestling with the facts and the wording of the judges.” While this story is probably not unique in the world of politics, it’s clear that Senator Edwards will have a difficult time recovering from this story. David Limbaugh
Sean was joined by NY Times bestselling author, David Limbaugh, to talk about his new book, “The Great Destroyer,” “This is your best book to date,” praised Hannity, “As I’m reading this book, I say, watch the left as they’re going to come out swinging against David Limbaugh.” “This book chronicles what President Obama has done to the Republic since June 2010,” plainly responded Limbaugh, “President Obama’s attitude is virtually un-American.” “Do you think this is conscious,” asked Hannity, “In other words, do you think he has an ideology that is so radically different than that which we’ve seen throughout our history?” “It doesn’t matter his intent,” countered Limbaugh, “He definitely has an intention to proceed with policies that are destroying America on the domestic front and on the foreign policy front.” “I think he is the radica l, rigid ideologue,” agreed Hannity, “And I think he’s shocked that people don’t realize his greatness.” Certainly David Limbaugh’s book is meant to spur serious debate but, with the evidence piling up, it’s curious to think how far off the mark he actually could be. Herman Cain
Sean’s friend and legendary radio host Neal Boortz announced he’s set to retire on December 5th. In a bold move, Boortz named Herman Cain as his successor. In an announcement last week, Boortz and Cain teamed up to make the announcement. “The best thing that ever happened in my life was going up against Neil Boortz,” laughed Sean, “If Rush is Babe Rush then he’s at least Gehrig or Willie Mays.” “Neil is real clear that he wants to spend the time with his wife,” offered Cain, “That’s something that he’s really wanted to do and he’s not totally getting away from Radio, he’ll be doing his rants from time to time.” “This was not an easy decision and I think he’s going to miss it,” noted Hannity, “Sometimes this feels like you’re a hamster on that little wheel thing and it never ends.” “Boortz always made you bring your A-Game,” laughed Cain, &l dquo;I want to be a voice out there and influence the conservative movement.” Click here to watch Boortz’ announcement with Herman Cain.

On June 4-6, 1942, American naval forces in the Battle of Midway destroyed Japan's four front-line aircraft carriers and other ships, resulting in the Japanese reverting to a defensive role for the rest of the Pacific war, never to make another offensive attack; and starting the long road to their eventual defeat in 1945.
