The Battle In Wisconsin
Wisconsin Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch joined the program to talk about today’s recall election. “It seems that your state is purple and now trending red,” laughed Hannity, “People are supporting balanced budgets and fiscal responsibility.” “People talk a lot about how Wisconsin had the last socialist mayor in the country,” countered Kleefisch, “People forget we’re also the birthplace of the Republican party and so Wisconsin is purple, she’s purple at her core.” Lt. Governor Kleefisch’s heartfelt push for victory tonight shows how important this race is. In her closing remarks to Sean she offered, “We have to win tonight because I have two little girls who need us to win.” There’s an entire generation of Americans who need her to win tonight.

Juan Williams and Stuart Varney: What Does Wisconsin Mean?
The friendly banter continues with Juan Williams and Stuart Varney as the two friends joined Sean to analyze tonight’s Wisconsin recall election from an economic perspective. “From an economic perspective what does tonight’s recall election in Wisconsin mean,” kicked off Hannity, “If Scott Walker holds on, how important is this?” “It’s hugely important,” opined Varney, “The message would go out that if you get control over your municipal unions you’ll get control of your financial situation.” “The power of the unions are at the heart of the major financial situations,” continued Varney, “It’s not the only problem but it’s at the heart of the problem.” “There are distinct issues between unions and entitlement spending,” fought back Williams.” The battle will play out in full though initial reports suggest that Governor Scott Walker should not have a problem winning the recall election tonight and returning to finish the job he’s started, namely sending a message that politicians can act in a fiscally responsible manner and remain in positions of leadership. Sean’s radio hero, Barry Farber, joined Sean to talk about his new book, “Cocktails with Molotov” and the future of America. “Barry had a huge influence on my life,” praised Hannity, “The first national show I filled in for was The Barry Farber Show.” “In my 52 years this is a high spot,” quickly responded Farber. “We owe you a debt of gratitude,” continued Hannity, “You paved the way in talk radio, and you’ve covered a lot in the book.” “My yardstick for my book was that it has to be true and unbelievable,” laughed Farber. “Let me just say that this book is a must read, all the stories are true,” praised Hannity, “You’re a real hero and this is a real treat for me.” We all take a moment to thank Barry for his inspiration and contributions to the cause of great talk radio.  For more on Farber’s book, click here.
