Obama Likes Women Golfers

The Masters Sean kicked off Thursday’s show with the story that President Obama is weighing in on the controversies surrounding Augusta National Golf Club’s refusal to let women join as members. “President Obama believes that Augusta should admit women,” White House Spokesman Jay Carney told reporters today, “It’s obviously up to the club to decide but his personal opinion is that women should be admitted.” While President Obama is seemingly not an expert in many things like the economy or foreign relations, Golf is one area that he is certainly an expert. “Obama played 23 rounds of golf between January and October of 2009 without inviting a single woman to his foursome,” laughed Hannity, “This has been somewhat of a controversy for him.” Hannity continued, “You have to wonder with the President getting involved in this, you have to wonder if the White House isn’t happier having the public talk about a nything other than his record.” Hannity cautioned the President in such a strategy saying, “We can walk and chew gum at the same time.” For more on this story, visit The Drudge Report or click here. Robert Zimmerman Last night on Hannity, Sean had the exclusive interview with Robert Zimmerman, the father of George Zimmerman, the man accused of shooting and killing Trayvon Martin in March of 2012. “Why don’t you walk us through what happened that night,” began Hannity, “Obviously you’ve spoken to your son, tell us his side of the story.” “It’s customary on Sunday night for George to do his grocery shopping,” began Zimmerman, “He saw somebody that did not live in the community walking behind some townhomes and that small community has had a lot of problems with burglaries so he thought it was suspicious.” “I urge everybody in the media and those who have not heard all the facts to get the truth,” concluded Hannity, “I hope, in time, we will.” There’s a lot to this story that remains confusing but the due diligence done by some in the media is refreshing and the lack thereof is most cert ainly not. Amilya Antonetti and Governor Bob Ehrlich Sean was joined by Amilya Antonetti and former Maryland Governor Bob Ehrlich, author of the book “ Turn This Car Around” to discuss the future of the economy. “Let’s look at the average American who sees $16 trillion in debt and all this political gridlock in Washington,” began Hannity, “What do you say when they ask ‘how do I protect the money I’ve made?’” “Don’t put your money in the big boy system,” quickly answered Antonetti, “Cash is king so I’d say that entrepreneurship is the future because we can’t fail, we can’t afford to lose.” Antonetti continued, “That’s where you want to put your money right now.” “I know parents who have worked their whole lives and they thought they had enough to retire,” answered Hannity, “And now they’ve seen all their investments wiped out.” “Vote for busines s candidates,” quickly suggested Governor Ehrlich, “Once we win, the tough part is entitlement reform and cutting corporate income taxes.” “We need a new president,” ended Hannity, “We need a new conservative congress and we need to be engaged with these economic issues because wiping out all this debt is virtually impossible.” Sean was blunt but true, the first step to eliminating debt is not adding to it.
