LOCAL COMMUTER ALERT

Service restored on Orange Line but congestion remains


Metro suspended Orange Line train service between West Falls Church and Vienna earlier this evening following reports of what a spokesman said was a "smoldering cross-tie" near Dunn Loring. Service has now been restored, but commuters should expect significant delays.
