As the race for the Republican nomination presses on, Governor Mitt Romney has made leaps and bounds against President Obama in recent head to head polls. “The main stream media was predictably silent yesterday when the latest Rasmussen Report had Romney and Obama tied,” began Hannity on Friday, “This is early for this to happen but Obama is headed to the upper 30 range in his approval rating.” Hannity continued, “A Fox News poll has Romney beating Obama 46-44, this is the first to show Romney gaining momentum.” “Every issue that the President has used to energize the base has backfired,” continued Hannity, “He’s trying at any chance and it’s not working.” It does seem that President Obama is not starting from a good place. Earlier today, Scott Rasmussen commented, “In a year when economic concerns trump all other issues, the numbers represent a good starting point for Romney.” The next few months will be very telling but, by nearly all accounts, President Obama and Mitt Romney would be starting from an equal footing. Hilary Rosen’s Big Mistake CNN”s Hilary Rosen back pedaled a lot the last few days on the heels of comments she made toward Ann Romney where she said that the candidate’s wife “can’t comment on the economy because she’s never worked a day in her life.” Katy Abrams, Director of Policy Pennsylvania Chapter of Americans for Prosperity, Jennifer Stefano, Pennsylvania State Director Pennsylvania Chapter of Americans for Prosperity, and Jason Childs, Founder and Director - Center for Progress in Alabama all came on the program to debate this controversy. “Ann Romney has never held a real job,” began Childs, “Those are the facts.” “If Ann Romney can’t comment on the economy because she hasn’t worked a day in her life than President Obama can’t comment on job creation because he’s never created a job,” shot back Katy Abrams. “If the Republicans want to run Thurston Howell and his wife for the White Ho use, that’s fine,” offered Childs, “But don’t expect us to believe they’re working class citizens.” “If you want to help women you should work to lower fuel costs and food prices,” offered Abrams, “None of that is happening under Barack Obama.” Stefano added, “He’s created all these inflationary prices that are hurting women.” While Hilary Rosen has worked hard to back away from her comments, they certainly have opened a world of controversy that shows the ugly side of the main stream media. |

| Bob Beckel and Pam Bondi Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and Bob Beckel joined Sean to discuss the details of the case of Trayvon Martin. “In a general sense when people make statements that this happened because Trayvon Martin is black,” began Sean, “The environment is very scary down there.” “It is,” agreed Bondi, “I can tell you that justice will be served for Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman.” Bondi continued, “Everyone needs to let the facts come out in trial and we have two great legal minds handling this case.” “Do you think the Stand Your Ground law makes any sense,” asked Beckel of Bondi, “This has the potential for a lot of these things to happen.” “You wouldn’t want me to comment as Attorney General,” answered Bondi, “The governor is starting a task force to study the Stand Your Ground law but not in the court of public opinion.” While this case is just heating u p, the legal ramifications that come from it will likely be felt nationwide. #LNYHBT Sean's giving away 500 "Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled" t-shirts to his faithful listeners!
